Packaging Instructions for Fragile Items

Please reinforce the packaging of your fragile item parcels.

For international express delivery, due to the long journey, the parcels need to go through many checkpoints before reaching the recipient. If the packaging is not properly reinforced, the goods are likely to be deformed, damaged, or affected by moisture...

Recently, we have received some complaints from buyers. The products they received were already damaged, and we had no choice but to issue refunds. As a result, the sellers suffered heavy losses, and the buyers had a poor experience and might even leave negative reviews.

Just by looking at the pictures sent by these buyers, you can tell that there was actually nothing wrong with the products. However, during the mailing process, the products were damaged during long-distance transportation due to overly simple packaging. Such problems can be completely avoided as long as you reinforce the packaging of your parcels.

For products like those in the pictures, what kind of packaging methods can we adopt during the packaging process?

1.Wrap the fragile items with cling film on the outside. This can reduce the scratches on the outer surface of the fragile items caused by friction during transportation. For multiple items that need to be separated, each item should be individually packaged.

2.Use transparent tape to fix the fragile items wrapped in cling film as the first layer of fixation. This can prevent the fragile items from breaking due to shaking.

3.Use bubble wrap for the second layer of anti-drop reinforcement of the fragile items. Bubble wrap can withstand medium-intensity impacts.

4.Use air column bags for the third layer of protection and reinforcement of the fragile items. This can withstand greater-intensity impacts.

5.Use foam boards to block the space of the outer packaging of the fragile items. After sealing the box, the fragile items can basically remain intact during the transportation process.

If your products are of high value, be sure to follow all these five steps to ensure that the items remain intact during transportation. If your products are of low value, try to adopt at least 2 to 3 of these steps.

The items inside the parcel must be well-fixed and should not be able to shake inside the packaging. Otherwise, it will increase the possibility of damage to the goods, damage to parts, or loss of parts. Fragile items such as liquids require even more reinforcement against impacts to avoid the occurrence of breakage and liquid leakage accidents.
